​​Middle School (Grades 6-8)

   *No pre-screening is required for the Middle School Division. Both rounds will be held LIVE on the day of the competition. Individual performance times will be emailed approximately one month prior to the event.

First Live Round

• J.S Bach, Gigue in Eb Major (from the Selected Studies for flute, Voxman) 

• A commissioned piece for the 2025 NJFF Competition (to be announced soon; music will be available on the website)

​

Final Live round

• J.S Bach, Gigue in Eb Major (from the Selected Studies for flute, Voxman)

• Piece of your own choice (up to 3 mins)

 

*Participants in the Young Artist, High School, and Adult Enthusiasts Divisions should refer to the Recording Guidelines here. All participants must complete their entry form, upload video recordings, and submit both the competition and membership fees by August 22, 2025. 

 

High School (Grades 9-12)

• Katherine Hoover, To Greet the Sun for solo flute

Final Live Round

**Accompaniment is required for the final round**

Young Artist (Age 18-30)

**Piano accompaniment is required for both rounds**

Final Live Round 

• Georg Philipp Telemann – One Fantasia of your choice from 12 Fantasias for Solo Flute (with repeats)

• One piece of your own choice (10–15 minutes)

 

Adult Enthusiasts

(This year’s Adult Enthusiasts competition will consist of one live round only.)

**No age limit, but must not be a professional player**

**Accompaniment is required**
